Baby showers are one of those events that allows friends and family to share a loved one’s passage into the next phase in life. Usually, baby showers involve women who bring the pregnant woman gifts, money, greeting cards and generally turn the day into “future mommy’s day”. Each woman writes down features that they think the new mom will want their baby to have from the dad or from herself. Also, there are the rather self-explanatory and traditional “Baby Bingo”and “Baby Trivia”. A unique and fun game is “Finish the Baby Rhyme”. Blanks are put instead of words in famous baby rhymes and the guests must fill them in! The woman who fills in the most words fastest, wins. If the guests bring their own baby pictures to the party, a game of “Guess the Baby Picture” can be played. Everyone guesses which lady the picture belongs to. This game often leads to long discussions of childhoods as well as talks of existing children that some of the guests may have. Baby scrambler is yet another way to entertain.
Choose about 25 baby item words and scramble the letters. Then the guests must go ahead and switch the letters around until someone recognizes the word. A kind of a crazy (and fun) game is to give each women different color play-doh and have them try and sculpt a baby during a set time. Some very funny baby shapes can come out of this game and it is sure to bring lots of laughter to the party. Along the same lines is the “Delectably Dirty Diapers” game. Here, various types of chocolate is melted onto diapers and women must guess what type of chocolate each diaper contains. The game ideas are endless, and the best part is that each mommy to be can come up with her own unique juegos para baby shower!
